Portland International Airport is a joint civil-military airport and the largest airport in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is located within Portland's city limits just south of the Columbia River in Multnomah County.
Portland International Airport has direct connections to some major airport hubs throughout the United States, and non-stop international flights to Canada, Germany, Iceland, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
There is one passenger terminal in the airport, with five concourses split between two sides. These two sides are connected beyond the security by the "Concourse Connector," a walkway that was opened in August 2005.
The two sections of the main terminal (South and North) at Portland International Airport contain five concourses (A, B, C, D, E).
